I myself have a single oranda(by himself in a 10 gallon. since way back when he's prefered to be by himself and likes people better than other fish), and he's such a sweetheart, but most of the time he's just a big pain in the butt (His Japanese name is Biransei, meaning irritating/annoying/etc - but we call him Bear for short). Any time someone walks by the tank, he does this little dance, thinking he's getting food. I've had him for around 4 years now and he's very friendly, letting me hand feed him and handle him(I don't use a net with him because he's ripped his fins on just about everything)
Keep up the adorable work and I would be excited to see pictures of him(or more of these fin-tastic fishy renders) appear in the group's gallery!
