Only beta testers can see it yet. But I just wanted to share my opinion about it and would also like to know yours.
Ok... so I personally don't like it.
First of all, those are really big, it may be better for people with higher screen resolution but to me they look huge and it take longer to scroll and see everything. I think there should be an option where people can choose if they want to browse with normal or big thumbnails.
Also, on deviations with transparent backgrounds, on the thumbnails the backgrounds are not transparent anymore.
I also don't like how everything is now congested. I liked when everything was aligned and clean, it was easier to browse and easier on the eyes, and also faster to look at. This + the bigger thumbnails, it just got terrible to browse and it don't make me feel like looking at the front page anymore. I just look at the first few deviations at the top now, and that's also what most people are going to see too, giving less exposure to other deviations that are lower on the page.
This is just my opinion, but I would also want to know what you guys think about it.
